Today on Meet The Press Ben Carson was asked if he thinks that Islam is consistent with the Constitution. Carson answered that he does not. He said further: “I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that.”
Carson gave the right answer but he will be denounced as an islamophobe, a racist and un-American by Liberals and the media (but I repeat myself).
Islam, in the form of Sharia law, in not compatible with American values as set out in the Constitution. The Constitution has a clause that there will be “No religious test for office”. In Islam Sharia is the only recognized law and under Sharia only Muslims have the right to rule. The Constitution requires equality before the law. In islam only Muslims have full rights. Some non-Muslims, known as dhimmies, are tolerated but they have very few rights and are subservient to Muslims; and infidels are not tolerated at all. The Constitution mandates free exercise of religion, but under Islam the practice of certain other religions is severely limited and others are not even recognized.
Slavery is not legal in the US but the Koran allows it, along with wife beating. The Constitution gives homosexuals equal protection under law while the Koran says that homosexuals should be thrown from high places, as ISIS has demonstrated very often recently. The Constitution requires an oath of allegiance for holders of public office, but Sharia forbids swearing allegiance to any authority other that itself.
Islam is not compatible with the Constitution, but don’t expect any Liberal or media personality (but I repeat myself) to understand that.
